Keeping a silver & black aro together?

I have a 125g with a 6" silver aro.

My LFS just got in a nice looking black aro.

I have read on here, just wondering peoples personal opinions about it.

It can be done, but likely it will not be because of anything you can control. I've attempted two aros several different times with different fish. I has worked for once outa 6 trys, though I have a pair of blacks that have been together now a couple months, so this may end up as a success also.

You need o make sure you have away to separate them before you attempt it. If things go bad you will have little time to prepare another option.

I was thinkin of doing the same thing with my baby black aro, thought of putting a silver in there.. I don't want ANYTHING happening to the black though, I have an extra tank incase something goes wrong though
