I need some ideas to keep my fish in I have A 480 gallon my arowana jumped out and died I am starting over with A small one in another tank and now I just have my RTC in there I saw the ideea of mirror holders and I dont think that will work for me

you must put something heavy on top of the cover. i saw some people put weights like for weight-lifting on the corners of the covers. a large fish can jump and open the top if there is no weight on top of it.

Glass usually will work well. Wet the bracing with water and the glass resting on the bracing will work like suction. But a good set of heavy light will help holding the cover down. I'm using 6 mm glass cover for my big fish with light set on top so far for years there's no issue about them jumping out. Hope it doesnt happen at all(touch wood):D

I have my glass top cut to fit really snug. Also with lights on top of them. Never had a problen yet! Good luck. FF
