hi, i am looking for some advice regarding maintaining blackwater in my 50g planted discus tank with a fluval 305, i am currently using tetra blackwater but it doesn't last a day and as it takes more than a whole bottle at a time, if there are any better ways to keep blackwater i would love to know,
cheers

Make sure your not running activated carbon, Purigen or anything like that! And use Indian Almond leaves, theyre an actual leaf from a tropical plant, leaches heaps of tannins and looks reall natural. I've bought the off a website called Bettawan in the past. I'm in Australia and they're in Thailand, came through quarantine no worries, super cheap and shipping is included I believe. Don't waste money on those USELESS extracts. I had the same problem, a whole bottle and practically no change!
