Keeping Blue Channel Catfish: Need info on what may be my next pet

forget Convics. Forget Corydoras. I saw a baby Blue Channel Cat in a local petshop today and I'm in love with the fish. But
how big do they get? What tank do I need? What foods? Water temp? Water conditions? Substrate? Tank lid?
Is it the native Channel Catfish we all know and love? It was too slender to be a Blue Catfish. If it would help maybe I could get a pic.
If it needs more than a 30 gal than plz give me info on my 2nd choice, the Tiger Hoplo, also there...

you need a Large tank 200+ for an adult, foods are just about any thing I feed mine blood worms, worms, shrimp and shrimp pellets, water temps for mine are 74-78, not sure on water temps but probably not to picky, substrate I don't think matters, I keep mine with a lid and yes it is a native channel cat.

oh and about size....I would guess 24 inchs easly

not even close....I have 3 albinos that i am going to put in a 300 gal stock tank.
