Is it too risky to house Boesemani Rainbowfish with growing Delhezi bichirs? I don’t want the Delhezi to eat them. It’s a 121cm x 51cm x 66cm tank.

I did had some giant danios and roseline sharks, they about the same size as the rainbow fish, they were with some 4”-6” sen, del and polli.Delhezi, senegal, polli, golddust, palmas, moke, and ropefish will be fine wth fish twice the size of their head. Of course, there's always a chance they may catch one in their mouth.
Polyaddict86 got a cornacopia of fish species with those upper jaw polys listed above. Maybe, he can show u a vid in here. :--)
Thank you, i currently change my stock so i dont have the plants and community fish with the polys, i traded them to my friend and took his african pikes, but like mentioned above aslong as the fish is bigger than the polys head and mouth you are safe.Wow! Your fish and tank is absolutely stunning!
One question, do you have any decor near the top or middle of the tank that the del can sit on and wait for a ambush? If you do then it moght be the del.Not to rain on the parade but I had giant danios with my sens, dels, moke, and butt and they all mysteriously vanished. The dels were around 6" to 8" at the time everyone else was smaller. Only one else it coulda been was the ctenopoma at 5" it would have been a struggle but I'm not ruling him out.
Yes and yes. It happened after lights out every time. Ive got congos in grow out now hoping I'm not just fattening them up.....One question, do you have any decor near the top or middle of the tank that the del can sit on and wait for a ambush? If you do then it moght be the del.
I learned that with my old tank when i had a DW in my old tank, my endli like to sit on that DW and at one point i had 6 pinktail chalceus and 3 went missing.
I dont think a poly can catch a giant danios cause they are fast swimmers, unless it happens when you turn your lights of and the danios goes to the bottom of the tank.
