at least 30 gallons of not horribly polluted water, some type of rock structure, and salt water

better filtration and great skimming
and no small crustaceans, hermits are fine though

that does not sound bad at all. i was gonna get a big protein skimmer and i already got good filtration.

I am guessing i wouldn't put any other fish in there with it?

not really
if you had gotten an insanely large skimmer you could maybe get another one... there's enough space it's just the bioload on such a small tank would be a problem

unless of course your tank is larger

i decided against it until i move and can change my 75 gallon into a sw and my 29 to just a grow out tank and get a 180+ for my fw
