i finally moved everyone out of my 55g, except a 1.5" banjo catfish and clown pleco, leaving my pair of severums in the tank. they have been spawning ever since this time last year producing fry everytime. usually within a week the other tankmates would eat all the fry. now that everyone is out im thinking of trying to get some of the fry to survive. so far the fry have been free swimming since friday when i removed the other tankmates but their numbers are already diminishing quickly. do you guys have any tips on how to keep them alive or what to feed and how. i see them picking at the food left over from the parents, usually shrimp pellets and some blood worms. the tank is filtered by 2 AC110s. would you recommend using a pre-filter sponge on the intake or something?
