State of chaos
I just went to change the CGD in my Crestie's dish, and I saw that, like always, he ate a good amount of it. Then I noticed something wiggling around, then another, then another. I was so disgusted that the whole dish went out the window, literally. I've seen fuit flies flying around in my Herp tanks before, so I'm not surprised. What should I do?

I give my crested gecko fresh cgd at night and remove it the next morning. I think your best bet is just making it in smaller portions and going that route...

yea i saw the same thing a few times, now i just offer smaller portions and change it out daily.

I agree. Change it every day. I put the dish in before I turn out the lights at night and it's licked clean by morning.

I only feed my cresty every 3 days and his dish is always out the next morning. I was under the impression that CGD spoils if left out for to long. I am not positive, have never actually looked into it but I just assumed so since the instructions suggest that you refrigerate it if you mix up large amounts at a time.

Don't add water to it. The breeder it came from more then likely did not mix it they give it to them as power in a dish check out u tube the crested gecko . com and see what there feeding
