I want to start keeping monster fish in an outdoor pond after I grow them out in my indoor tank. If I wanted to keep:
  1. 1 iridescent shark
  2. 2 oscars
  3. 1 tiger shovel nose catfish
  4. 1 large mouth bass
  5. 1 peacock bass
  6. 1 bichir
  7. 1 silver arowana
  8. 1 red tail cat
what would the minimum size of the pond have to be and would this stocking even work together?
Do I need to follow the at least one gallon per cubic inch of fish rule? Would 2,200 gallons be enough? Of that stocking list what would work well in the 2,200 pond that is a circle 12 feet across and 3 feet deep?

I think climate and how to heat the pond in winter might be more important depending where you live...

The size would be good, for many many years at least. However the TSN and RTC and Iridescent shark get big enough to eat oscars and bass and probably bichirs for a snack.

Good to know. It sounds like I'm going to have to choose between large catfish and large predatory fish.
