I'm just wondering if it's possible to have and grow up a HBRTG, RTG and a Green put together in 1 large tank? Say all at 6"-8" and would they be ok together or would it be a blood bath? Also wondering if anyone has done this and would like to share some experiences please do so.

I thought you have to have like 5 or 6 for it to work, but i could be wrong.
Good luck

steve

I've read that 2 fish will fight (usually) and with each additional fish the aggression is reduced by about 50%.

It may work, if you have the stomach to stand seeing torn fins and tails. Put some other fish, like silver dollars, datnoids to distract them ;)

Ya I'm about to get my first asian aro, a HBRTG in the next month or so. I've always liked keeping multiple aros in a tank instead of just 1. I find it more attractive when more of them together. So I thought of getting a few RTG's with the HBRTG but I dunno how their aggression between each other is with this type of Aro. For the RTG are they super aggressive between eachother?

Also I've kept multiple silver Aros many times before and I do see them nipping at eachother here and there but no serious injuries between them. Just a few split fins which usually grows back so I'm use to seeing it. Also if I do get multiple Asians then yes there will be tank mates of Dats and Pbass's.

RTGS are AGGRESSIVE!!
5 or more if u want RTGS!!!!!
if you want a comm for cheap
go for 3 blacks.

Each fish has its own personality, but green seems more aggressive than RTG, but it may not always be the case. You just have to watch them closely on the first few days to make sure that they only nip, but not tearing each other ;)
