Keeping Nerite snails with Malawi cichlids

I have a bunch of olive nerites in my planted tank & they do a great job of keeping it free of algae. I was wondering if I can keep them in my 75g Malawi tank?

Yeah, I also wouldn't suggest it; nerites are fantastic, but most cichlids will murder them pretty much instantly sadly.

Don't have much experience with them but what about plecos? Type? Size? I've seen on other forums many have used them in AC tanks.
