i know it is recommended to keep clawed frogs/dwarf frogs without because it messes up their lateral line and causes them problems apparently...obviously you have to stay up on the water changes...

but newts generally prefer slow moving water as well (clean water though)

my question is if anyone personally keeps newts in an unfiltered tank and how often do they change the water and @ what percentage....

and if they seem happier without a filter knocking them around.

id atleast have an air stone in there.
better yet, a sponge filter.

Actualy all thouse animals are compatible with filtration, granted with dwarf clawed frogs its only like a sponge filter needed. You can do the same with newts. Well actualy it is not recomended to make sudden water changes with newts, you absolutley have to create a equilibrate and biologically working tank before getting some.
