I have been feeding live night crawlers for months to my rays (and all the other fish). I have them stored in "worm bedding" that is available at tackle shops, the bedding consists of mulched up paper. Has anyone heard of any ill effects that this bedding could cause my rays or any of the other fish any problems down the line. The night crawlers appear to be fat and healthy, even after two weeks in this stuff, way better than they keep in dirt for sure.

Thanks very much for the input,

Ray

Thanks, so, no one can forsee any issues for the fish with this bedding for the worms then?

I keep mine in the dampened peat moss they are packed in. I just have saved it in a 5gl bucket.

Thanks everyone, I guess I just worry about the ink, no matter if color or not, if the worms work the paper through their system. I'm sure I am just over thinking it haha

i was just going to post the same thread. i think i some times notice some of the chiclids almost get like a constipation from it but it doesnt effect my rays at all. thnx
