I currently have my 300 gal pond in the shade and has two air pumps in it are their any other ways I can keep the pond in the low 70f 's . summers here typically get to 105f.

right now with the odd weather, its easy.

Put a cover over it, maybe some fans blowing on the water but if its 105 outside, the pond no matter how well covered will go up in temp.

Chiller is the way to go then.

So how strong of a water flow would be needed to keep a 300 gallon rubbermaid stock tank/pond in the mid 70f 's ? Currently I have a 500gph pump to move water for my diy filter would I need another just to create a or would one for a waterfall be better to cool off the pond in the heat.

Thr stronger the better, but you're still only going to get evaporative cooling, so the impact won't likely be nearly enough on its own.

You may want to get a bunch of those gel filled freezer packs. Keep a few in the tank (sealed in a ziplock bag) and a few in the freezer ready to use.

Is the rubbermaid in or above ground?

Above ground, but thinking of burying it in the ground a little if it would help. Won't be able to bury it to the rim due to tree roots but could insulate it with 6 inches or so and then surround the rest of it with piled soil.

Any you can go will help.

shade, shade, shade. Floating plants as already suggested, bury it as far into the ground as you can get it. How deep is the pond?
