I am raising my young silver in a 100 gal. tank and he seems to be happy with his PH around 7.0, but the PH in my 100 gal. tank keeps droping to 6.0. what can I do to safely raise the PH and keep it up?

:iagree:

Add it slowly and keep track of the results. We use it in all of our tanks and maintain a 7.4 PH in all of the tanks with RO/DI water. The amount you need will vary but if you start small and add it slowly you'll find the right combination for the water your using and the water change schedule.

Just out of curiousity what is the pH of your tap water? Keeping your pH stable is the most important thing. If you are doing water changes with tap water, it would be best for your tank pH to match that of the tap.
