Hi all!! Really need some advice..

Is it safe to have 1 juvenile piranha to comm with other monsters?

Currently i have 1 crossback arowana (abt 1ft), 1 knife fish (7"), 1 endi (8"), 1 IT (8") and 1 NGT (5") in my 150gallon.. Really tempted to add a piranha to the collection..

Can advice pls??

In my experience it can work but depends a lot on the other fish. I had my oscar, pike cichlid, pleco all about 10 - 12 inches wen I added my 5 inch RBP. My pike beat the hell out of him for a day. but the other fish kept away. Then I noticed a couple little bites out of my oscars fins and then one on his lip. So I got rid of the RBP to much trouble for my 5 foot tank. But I seen tanks where they coexist fine just need a lot of room!

No, don't. Only going to lead to problems, even if not right away.

This is either a joke or a seriously misinformed member. (Not to be ignorant)

With ALL due respect a juvy piranha will get eaten in no time by the 1' aro, knife fish and heck damn near all your stock. Me being a piranha enthusiast I strongly suggest getting another tank and having a species only tank!

You could always buy a young black piranha aka serrasalmus rhombeus and grab a 40b http://www.aquascapeonline.com/aqua...iranhas-genus-serrasalmus-black-piranha-peru/ He would be fine in there for years and years and they are a seriously aggressive ambush predator that I'm sure you would love. Or if you want to add ferocious shoaling fish try exodon tetras http://www.aquascapeonline.com/aquatic-live-stock-fresh-water-fish-piranhas-exodons/

Anyone whom suggest any piranha with community or other predator species either like death, don't value their fish, didn't do research or like experiments! No offense to anyone but it wont work!

Ya bad idea. He either gets ate early or grows and does the eating.

If you saw a video of your tank before you separated the p, you'd think it worked too....but clearly it didn't

There are very very few long term success stories but many short term experiments. We should just tell people its unlikely to avoid the trouble we all see coming

It's true, it is very rare it will work. And from my own experience I would say don't do it. But my point was I have seen tanks online ( very few ) that have worked. I went to an aquarium in Majorca ( Spain ) and they had piranha, oscars, gar, flowerhorns, large catfish, and pleco's in the same tank. As I said better avoided but can be done.
