Keeping potho light on 24/7 ?

Do they need a night time and day time if kept in a sump could I just leave the light on 24/7 or should it be more 12 on 12 off?

I used to have mine on a reverse light schedule since it was in the sump. When the tank lights were on, the plant light was off and vice versa

You could leave on 24hrs, the plant won't mind. You just won't get much additional growth after 18hrs
