keeping tems with large mouth bass

has anyone tried it keeping tems or any other pbass with large mouth bass

some say the LB can tolerate the temp but i have never kept them together so i cna not give you a 100 percent answer....this is a topic that pops up every now and then in this forum.. do a search and you will find a few threads on this topic that you can read

i tried it but my lm ended up getting to large and ate my two peacocks, who by the way were bigger when i started the tank. but it did last for 8 months. and boy was it fun to watch them eat.

I have done peacock bass and smallmouth bass. It was a blast.

hmm its hard to belive that a large mouth bass out grew your cichla.. i have owned largemouths in the past and no way do they grow faster... maybe lack of high temp and alot of water changes...

i keep 3 11" mono with 3 9" LMB no problems. as long as they cant eat eachother its all fine. and lmb grow quicker then pbass in my experience.
