Anybody ever kept Walleye before? They have some crazy teeth so I'm slightly nervous to keep one. Do they get alone with fish assuming they don't fit in their mouths? Or are they jerks?

I have seen them in tanks before but you have to remember they are a predator fish so a large tank will be needed if kept with other fish. But even that may not be enough. The tank I saw was 220 with a channel cat and a 3 largemouths and it was fine.

THE GOAT

I've looked into it and its almost like keeping a larger perch. From what I'veread and heard they act almost the same and do not get too monster sizes in fish tanks. With the teeth and everything fish way smaller then them may be a potential snack. If you do end up getting one I'd like to hear how it goes I am looking to get one myself.

Used to have a 10" in my old 125. I don't think he moved twice. You can fill your tank up with better fish!

yeah im strongly considering it, they are pretty cool and would really be fun in my tank, a lot of the research im doing is basically saying if a fish doesn't fit in its mouth its fine, but, gotta be careful, it has some crazy teeth. But then again my gar has a bunch of big teeth and it is one ofthe nicest fish int he tank

I have a walleye in my 180. Awesome looking fish. Chills on the rocks and at night swims all around but during the day it sits on the bottom.
