Hey guys, I notice how in some tanks it looks as if there is barely any fish waste littered across the bottom. It is even the case with big fish as well. I have a 60" x 18" x 20something. I have one xp3 intake in each back corner.

My question is, how can I get the waste to be moved towards the back? Or maybe into the filter? Some of the waste does seem rather "heavy" though.

What are the suggestions/tips that you guys can recommend from experience? Thanks

-BTW I do regulars gravel vacs, but this would be for in between!

I am running two XP3s on a 150 gallon tank. The holes on the spray bars are rotated to approx. a 1:00-2:00 position. This pushes the oxygenated surface water forward against the front glass panel and then down. This water movement sweeps all fish waste back into the two back corners of the tank.

Thanks for the quick responses! Right now I have the two power jet nozzles attached. They are angled slightly upward and facing towards the center of the tank at about a 45 degree angle in regards to the two back corners of the tank. This is providing great circulation and aireation, although still leaves the larger debris along the bottom.

The spray bars would work better at this, as well as provide adequate aireation as well?
