Has anyone keep endi with turtle? I have a 14" endi, and I am thinking of adding a couple map turtles into the tank. If it will work, what size of turtle can I add? 4-5" maybe?

PERSONALLY, I've had good luck keeping Red Ears and Map Turtles w/ fish, the turtles never bothered the fish as long as they were well fed. But please keep in mind its a *serious* gamble especially with an endli which probably wouldn't run away from a hungry turtle until AFTER its had a big bite taken out of it!

I'd be a little leary to keep any valuable fish with turtles. I know our red ear slider views anything that moves as food, and I lost a madtom catfish to our map turtles.

Turtles generaly eat fish plain and simple. You can try it but don't be suprised
fish the endi suffers major damage-Anne

It's just a bad idea. Usually a noob idea too.

Turtles don't belong in aquariums anyways.

It depends on what kind of turtle. RES grows big and unless you have a huge aquarium. But some of the male maps grow to only 4-5" and they can be house in an aquarium.

Hey I am interested in keeping 7" bluegill with my 6" mudturtle but people here said that as long as the tank is big enough, it will take years for the turtle to injure..yet kill the fish.
if the fish don't have space to hide or run..could be risky.
