Kel Pbass ID

I need some help to see if these really are kels. I have 2 of them. Both are 4-5" , pretty brightly light yellows and they don't turn dark. They seem like kels to me but what do you guys think they are?

My friend got it from a friend so it could be from any location point. I don't think it was from a lfs but ill check. Only seen baby hybrids at my lfs.
