I was wondering if there would be a compatability issue between an orino and kelberi.

Will they fight or get along peacefully ?

Who the more aggressive species ?

Who will get larger ?

Reason is , I may be adding a Rapps wild Rio Meta 1.5 inch orino to my small grow out tank with the baby oscar and baby surinamensis.

When they are large enough , I will add them to my kelberi / bala shark tank.

I heard stories these guys may fight.

all peas have the possibilty of nipping most of the time its just for dominance. There are quite a few people who have Orinos with Kelberis. I am adding a few kels in with me Orino in a couple days.

As to who gets bigger, the Orino does at 24"+

I think that the general rule with PB is that as long as they are about the same size, they aren't usually going to kill each other. There will be a pecking order, but that's about it. I don't know that it even matters in terms of mixing the specific kinds of PB. The more PB in the tank the better for reducing aggression, provided you have adequate space. Your chances of having serious aggression issues increase if you just have two PB, just like with most aggressive/semi-aggressive fish.

Should be fine as long as you have room and they are a similar size... I've mixed orinos and kelbs in the past with no difficulties.
