Potential depends on how you raise it. Bahias require a lot of patience. Grow it out and see.

i know this might be in a different thread somewhere, but is there a way to tell the difference between a WC Kel and a bahia Kel when they are little?

Based on my observations, the WC has dark bars while the bahia has faint bars but golden body color. You be the judge. Just beware that there are a lot of hybrid bahias out there because the bahia fad is in full swing (it fish).

That bar on the forehead just behind the eye is a trait almost exclusive to Bahias.

Here's a better profile of my bahia. I've never had or seen a WC kelberi so hard for me to explain differences. Why don't you start a thread on it? Or is this thread it?
