Whats the demand for bahia kelberi? As well as pricing for a 2 incher. I've notice that the US gets more of the left over bahia kelberi from the supplier. I've been seeing some very nice looking bahia kelberi from like Singapore and other countries at a very small size. What does everyone else thinks? Sorry I'm not a active member but more of a spectator on mfk. Just starting to try to be more active and keep the cichla alive!

WC Kelb's are worth every penny, if you can find one........Good luck

The first batch that came from taiwan is the best batch that, IMO, are worth the asking price. As for the other batches, I could care less about. As for Singapore cichla, I would order from them. Stones is a near prospect for me. I want there Orino x monos that are wild there, there tems to. Florida ocells are on my list as well.

As for keeping them alive at a small size....over feed, temp, and clean water is all you need.

I meant to say that Ive seen photos of some nice marking on young(about 3inches or so) bahia kelberi that are outside of US. Stones has some top notch quality fish! I really like the kelberi x orino hybrid. Thats on my wishlist!

The kel x rinos are a iffy to to me. If they really were kel x rions, I would like to see more of the kelberi traits. The most nicest patterns on a kelberi was from Jeff Rapps 1st, 3rd and 4th batches. I really haven caught the "Bahia" bug. I am not a personal fan of them. Seems to me, that bahia kelberi is tossed around to much. Just like rio meta orino's. IMO, I would rather pay quality then quantity. But, hey, if you want a to do a group buy from stones, I'm down.

Pbass isn't quite the same as it was a couple years ago. I think you have noticed it to. It's just not the same.

I agree Hayn. You really need to pick and choose your cichla..if you want the real quality ones.
