My current Bahia is 4.5" or so and growing really well. My good buddy has a group of young adults. All about 9-12" If my young bass can get to the 6" mark or so do you think I can introduce and adult bass or two into his tank without him being lunch.

* none of the bass in question eat live prey. Well, I should say have been offered any.

I think a 12 inch fish prolly could eat a fish over 6 inches. By the time it's 6 more the others in ur friends tank may get bigger too. Just a keep in the back of your mind type of thing.

I introduced a 7 incher into my tank with 10/11 inchers, and the little guy became the boss. I think it will vary each time due to any individual's temperament.

i have a 6" bahia (ugly bastage) in with my big boys with the largest being at least 13" prolly bigger. they could definitely eat him but they just dont...they chase him alot but more as a pecking order thing than a food thing. it will of course depend on the fish but it could work....with caution
