Kelberi vs Azul + Updates

Had an unexpected scuffle the other day involving my 13" Kelberi and 11" Azul. I walk downstairs to see the Azul halfway inside the Kelberi's mouth. I stuck my hand in the water to break it up, and this is the outcome. I trust with a few weeks, he should heal up.

careful! i'm sure you already know this but if you seen any fungus start to grow on the azul, separate him quick! i lost my 2 spot mono when the same thing happened except the arowana was the culprit.

Also might want to watch out for some more abuse, any injure fish in my tank will continue to get beat until they're separated. Hope he heals up quick!

You must be psychic bro. This incident happened 4-5 days ago and its been really calm since then. I went downstairs today to see the Azul in even worse shape then before. Rather than sit and watch him waste away, I threw him in a 55g with my pima and endli growouts. I hope he heals up well and we can try this again
