kelberi ???

my latest buy frm an lfs after some 'saving-up'...size abt 4inches. bought as kelberi, any cichla enthusiast can positive id my babies?

Depends on water quality, feeding, what food/s you are using and so on. Power feeding, you can probably get it to 8'' in 6 months. I use to feed my baby bass guppies, then rosie reds, then gold fish then pellets, shrimp, chopped clams...etc. As for the feeders, I use to feed them pellets I use to feed my bigger bass, then feed the feeders to the baby bass.

thanx for the tips...yes, i am going to power feed them. hopefully when they can grow faster, i can intro them to my main tank.

They can jump just like any other fish, best to be safe rather than sorry and keep your tank well covered.
