Ok so I had to go down to Southern California for a orthodontist oppointment and on my way back I stopped at A Plus aquatics. I was looking around, and for you people who have been there, you can go in and out in 5mins. You are so amazed and shocked to see fish there, that some of the vendors on here can't get. So I was looking and saw some nice kels, then I see some nice sized RA kels for $69!!!! There where real nice ill put a pics up. But I continue to walk around and see some more and see the kelquiti. My dream cichla. (That I can afford). So I ask the guy how much he would take for him and he said, "if you pay cash, ill let him go for $150" I knew what he was so I said deal. So this is my new pride and joy, then my pinima which is doing really good. I'll update on him too. So here's the picsView attachment 945438at the store.uploadfromtaptalk1378154626777.jpghim just nowuploadfromtaptalk1378154690510.jpg RA kelsuploadfromtaptalk1378154792218.jpgSo here's the Pinima, my now second pride and joy. He's doing really good. Eating a lot, still trying to get him on massivors. I'm mixing live bloodworms and crushed massivors in with each other to get the bloodworms to taste like massivors. Still no luck. I got some tank mates to hopfully encourage him to try them. I got a couple red severums when I bought the kelquiti. But I might call in a little to see if A plus ships and get those RA kels. So let me know what you guys and gals think!

The Pinima is doing great. Still love frozen or live bloodworms, but almost on massivors. I broke a pellet in 1/4th the other day and he swallowed 1 out of the 2 I threw in there, so almost there. But in the pic he was actually sleeping, I had dimmed the light in the room where the tank is, with the tank light off, then turned both lights on all the way, so he was still sleeping in the pic. The best way to get close ups with him;). Also attached a FTS (Full Tank Shot) of the pinima tank, I seem to like it, he does too. Tank temp is around 86F-88F. And I feed a lot in the morning and pinch in the evening. But as far as the kelquiti, same goes for him but he has now transferred onto massivors. I redid my 180, I took out all the PFS (Pool Filter Sand) and rocks that where in there and now the tank is completely bare now. I really like it better now because I feel like they have more room to swim in. They also seem to like it. He got a little beat up last night. Not to sure how but he seems to be recovering fine. He also loves to take Salt baths. I have a slate in there and I pore the Salt in that so its kind of like a bowl, and he goes about half an inch over it and fans the bottom of it and makes all the dissolving salt disperse. Some times he also goes nose down and shakes his head. He his quit the character. Must be the Kel in him.:headbang2 But here's a little update.
