Anyone using Kens Cichlid pellets they seem very inexpensive so I am
wondering if they are worth using for a staple food.I am looking for a lower cost alternative to Hikari

It's good but a little bit messy. I used to buy the veggie & spirulina sticks, and the soft and moist krill.

Messy I can do without
Do you know of any good bulk foods out there that may be a good replacement

I have always used Hikari and have had great results just trying to save a little money as the fish get bigger its hard to keep the food bin full
thanks for the replys

i havent used kens before so i dont know about it. i did just get a free sample from aquadine and my fish love it, i may order some soon. it is sold in bulk that you can mix the way you want it. some fish stores have vending type machines, you save your tub and bring it to refill and get so much % off. they may still have some samples for free.

Looks like I will try the Kens after all the good feedback
the pricing is very appealing and the last few responses make me
more comfortable with the product
Thanks
