Do any of you use any of Ken's Premium pellets from kensfish.com? If so, which ones?

I have had success with his Sinking Pellets w/ Brine Shrimp, Slow Sinking Growth Pellets, Floating/Sinking Cichlid Pellets, and some of his Stick food (I bought a 1/2 lb of his '5 Stick Blend'.

I also just placed an order for his Meat & Spirulina Wafers, and Soft & Moist w/ Krill. Both should be arriving within a couple of days.

I am interested to see who else has used any of his food for there bichirs...

It's not a pellets but mr. senegal loves the earthworm sticks. All of the fish loves these sticks actually. Try some sticks Stump, their perferct size for a senegal and smaller bichirs. :)

Watch out for his Soft and Moist pellets, they need to be refrigerated, I think it's due to the blood meal ingredient or something. My fish though are really fond of the earthworm sticks.

I use the large 9.5 mm pellets. It's good stuff.

I didn't buy his pellets or crisps. I have a new discus tank set up. I recently bought HBH Angel & Discus Flake Natural & HBH Natural Meat Flake. I alternate - they love it! Though my discus after 2weeks eat almost anything anyway. But Ken's prices were great, great variety of products & choices & shipping costs were very reasonable.

Many on MFK recommended Ken's & so will I!

My four sens love his stick food. I bought his 5 Stick Blend (which I believe consists of Earthworm, Cichlid, Vegetable, Color, and Spirulina Sticks, and give them some about once a week... They love it.

I try not to feed too much of it though, because it does tend to break up and cloud the water and leave an awful smell if you let too much sit in the tank for too long.

Yeah, I heard that too. I appreciate the heads-up.

Once my guys put on some size, that'll be the first thing I try with 'em. For the price and size (and the fact it's suppose to stay in the water for long periods of time without breaking up and making the water dirty) makes it something at least worth giving a shot.

Yup. Ken's Fish is great.

Quick, quick deliveries, and prices that you can't help but be happy with. Quality is not an issue either, that's for sure.

Yeah it can, I usually underfeed all the fish just so I don't have to do daily gravel vac changes. Plus I like my fish pleasantly plump but not fat, lol.

What would you guys say would be most similar to Massivore? My sen and del like it, but its pricey. Also if anyone has had success feeding Kens to AT Dats let me know.

I have to add - the price of my 2lb flakes was only $15 (not incl. shipping costs yet), that's $7.50/lb /16oz. Tetramin 7.06oz TopFin 5.6oz are both about $12-15 in LFS so to you can see you get twice the product for 1/2 the price (btw both made in Germany, I suspect TF is made by Tetramin which makes for private branding/generics)

I bought the HBH line. "HBH has gone to a all new natural flake removing unnecessary dies and other fillers. These new formulas will perform as well if not better than before with no unnecessary fillers. This resulting in much higher quality product."

not familiar with masivore but you can check ken's - he lists all the ingredients in his food product to find something close.

His Premium Soft & Moist w/ Krill pellets are comparably very similar. That's one of the main reasons I bought some.
