He has nice color. I really liked their colors as a species and wanted to breed them. So i picked up a couple. (my 3 juvies turned out to be 2m/1F) I used to like mine as juvies while they were coloring up but after he matured. Boy was i wrong LOL i changed my mind real quick LOL Mean buggers !! I had two males develop and thought it was just the dominant one that was mean so i put the subdominant one in another tank and he became a real jerk too, practically overnight !! Sold them both just kept the one female. She is ok so far...

lol he is a cutie. but i agree with mike, i had one once and he beat up my big male venustus-no one would take him so he met with the porcelain god because he was killing my fish and chased them literally nonstop all day and nite.

Males do def. like to mix it up w/ anyboby....

Thats why I don't house them anymore.

I have absolutely no problems from George, the male Kenyi. Buddy keeps the whole tank under control..

i also have no issues with my male kenyi.. do you think introducing him to my main tank while he was about 1" or so.. the other tank occupants were almost 4" made him less aggresive??
