Is there any particular reason for the placement of the letters on a keyboard. Most are random while some are in order like FGH and JKL.

The keys used the most are in the middle section, or placed so the fingers don't have to stretch very far to reach those commonly used.

ive always question my keyboard on why its like that.why cant it be in alphabetical order so i dont have to look around.

You need to get yourself a typing program to teach you how to type without looking and it will be a breeze.

LOL first thing i did was look at wikipedia. Quite interesting really. I was shocked to find the US keyboard doesn't have the pound sign yet we have the dollar sign! I'm going to tip-x mine out lol.

sudz- yeah I did some kind of program that did that. Maybe I was already too into computers, but it is just something i've learnt by doing- the same with text messaging and playing guitar etc. Nice avator, I liked that pic too when i saw it on NG photo of the day.
