Keyhole Cichlid Diet

My 4 Keyhole Cichlids are about 2 inches now and I'm curious what is a really good food to feed them.

A quality flake food. I feed mine Ken's Fish Earthworm flake & Veggie flake.

congrats with the keyholes i have 9 in a 125 gallon tank living with uarus. You can give them any high quality flake food for the veggies and i feed mine blood worms. They eat anything really not too picky. They even eat the cucumbers i put in for my plecos.

A quality pellet food is going to be better than flake. They the NLS Cichlid 1mm formula.

If you go with pellets I recommend the HBH Super soft & moist sprirulina. My Keyholes dig em.

Make sure they get a varied diet of flakes, pellets, bloodworms. When they get in the 3-4 inch range maybe some gammarus and mysics.
