Keyhole Cohlid in 3 Gal?

Can I put my Keyhole Cichlid in a 30x20x20cm tank by itself (or maybe with a clown stripe plecostomus) or is this too small?
I might be putting something else in the 20gal but I dont want to get rid of this guy:confused:
