Hi guys I am hoping to adding a pair of peacefulish cichlids to my 29 gallon community tank and I narrowed it down to these two species. Which one do you think would do better with my stock. So far the stock is:

1 Yoyo Botia
4 Rosy Barbs (might be down to 3, one isn't looking so hot right now.)
2 Mystus Tengara Catfish
1 Garra Rufa
1 Clown Pleco
! BN Pleco
I also plan on adding 8 or so black ruby barbs.

I have been very happy with the keyhole cichlids I recently got. They are very peaceful and entertaining as well. They would be a good choice. As for the flags, I have never had them so hopefully someone with first hand knowledge of the fish will leave a comment, but seem like they would be a nice fit as well. Are you leaning either way?

I like smiley curviceps. :)

But I've never had keyholes - people love those too.

In my area Curviceps are very hard to find, so I'd be tempted to get them.

Having said that, I kept Keyholes in the past and would not hesitate to get them again if I had a tank. They're understated and underrated.
