Hi I got my self a big problem, does any one know how I can raise my KH level but at the same time lower my PH levels ???? Because the KH is 2dKH but the PH is always high at 7.5 :irked: and I wish to get the KH atlest 5 or 6dKH and the PH at 6.5. What I realy cannot understand is since my KH is low how can my PH be so HIGH ?

Don't bother messing with your ph. That range is fine for any fish.

KH can be raised with baking soda, crushed coral, etc.

I am wored because of my black arowana. The black arowana need very low PH levels even 6.0 can be good for it but 6.5 would be fine for the other fish I have. And why do I have a high level of PH if the KH is so low?

Fish will adapt to any ph range. I have wild discus in a ph of mid to high 7s, they could care less. Ph is tied to your kh and gh, it's not a stand alone number. Kh is your buffering capacity, gh is your general hardness. KH and GH are more important than ph. Have you tested your gh?
