So I’ve recently moved into a new house and we’re on tank water. My tanks are running pure rain water now so I’m adjusting to the fact of trying to add minerals to the water. Straight from the tap it’s basically ro water ph 7 gh would be I guess one degree hard to tell when it’s only one drop same with kh. The tank itself has pool filter sand substrate and I’ve added crushed coral and I add conditioning salts when doing a water change. My in tank gh is 7degreea and kh is 1 ph is 7.6. I’m worried about the low kh when the fish start growing crashing the ph. What’s the best way to raise kh without drastically effecting gh or ph? I don’t want to go from no minerals to liquid rock. I’m keeping 3 rays and Azul peacock bass with some silver dollars and uaru.
