With that said! The first "kelquiti" I got belongs to my cousin.. then I decided to get my own. And what do ya know. I've got another shipment is coming in tomorrow. seriously, this hobby is dangerous lol I will say that no, I don't have a humongous tank to house all the cichla. I don't plan on keeping them all. just gonna grow out a few and take my pick on which ones I want to keep

They're doing pretty good. already begging for pellets now

They're currently in with a juvenile blue channel catfish and a emerald corydora. a cory?? yea, this dudes been with me for quite some time lol he can hang with them for now

ah, I see. very nice, moving into the high end territory already!

cichla sp. xingu, if it is, should be actually cichla melaniae, it was formerly described in 2008 I believe?
