kick ich?

ever used this product to treat ich? wen ever i use it , all my fish and inversts are fibnd the first day but the second night they all are on the bottom lik they are gasping for air so i turn the skimmer bak on and add 3 air pumps to the tanlk and they quickly recover.
any luck with other ways to treat ick ?
i put a cleaner qwrasse in the tank and he seems to be helpin fight it should i put more cleaners in the tank? i heard they starve once their are no more parasites in the tank info plz

Freshwater dips maybe? adding a UV sterilizer? I am not sure, but they might help.

Ruby reefs kick ich? Yes, I've used it in a 90 gallon reef with no ill affect the tank had some pretty sensative critters in it at the time like stars , a small colony of montipora, a bta etc. It didn't kill them but, they got pouty so I stopped . I only had 3 fish so I took them out of the tank for 30 days so that the parasites life cycle was interupted.

Don't buy any more cleaner wrasses, most of them don't live very long in aquariums. Anyways, its not a very effective way of dealing with ich.

Do you have a quarantine tank? If you don't, maybe you should look into setting one up so that you don't introduce disease to your main tank.

KICK ICH - don't waste your money, IMO it sucks, hate it hate it! Do a search for other threads on here covering Ich, there are quite a few from a ways back where Myself, Guppy, Oddball and several others have included detailed information. Good luck!!

There is one produst that will absolutely kick ichs ***. Have you ever heard of coppersafe? It will instantly kill your inverts so you need to be careful, but it will almost instantly kill ick for you. I recomend a freshwater bath mixed with coppersafe. One dip should do it. That is usually what I do and it usually keeps ich form coming back though. Watch out though because inverts have zero tolerance for copper, and I would not reccomend it for a reef. There is a drastic measure though. If you wanted to treat the whole tank you would have to remove all inverts and then treat it, and that would wipe the ich out.
