I've been searching through the forums, but am not finding much. Can anyone tell me if those little hard plastic kiddie pools at Wal-Mart would be safe for fish? I've got some garage space, and was considering using one of these as a budget pond for my red devil, and maybe adding one or two more fish. My plan is to wrap the exterior of the pool in some insulation to lessen the heating cost in the Oregon winter. Any info would be appreciated.

We have had one for a dog water container, but after we got tired of the mosqito larvae, that were imperviouse to chlorine, we threw some fish and some elephant ears in it. It's been working fine for years.
