I've seen some threads saying "People" Have actully urinated in their tank water, instead of adding fish. Does this actully work? What happens if you drink alchool and than you piss out all the impurities?

hmmm...

You just got a car. Do you really want to jeopardize your right to drive? Stay away from alcohol, and don't piss in your tank.

Ya urinate out a whole lot more then ammonia, I wouldn't do it.

Buying pure ammonia is cheap enough, if someone short enough on cash to urinate in a tank it might be time for a new hobby.

I don't know what is unusual about this method. This was THE way for popping SW setups years ago and was also recommended for fishless cycling of FW setups. The recommendations came from many prominent professionals in the scientific aspects of the hobby and industry at the dawn of wet/dry filtration development. Of course, this method was also in place before someone figured out that plain bottled ammonia worked just as well. The idea was that the bacteria, ketones, and cast off blood and tissue cells added to the "soup" needed to cycle a new setup.
Hope you realize that this was all before the additives readily available today.

I actually remember reading about this on the alt.rec.aquaria archives on thekrib.com when I first started keeping fish maybe 10 years ago.

I dont drink, I was saying if ti actully does work and you drank you are putting some nasty stuff in your tank. Only thing i found was amonia with lemon twist or something like that

Try a hardware store, you're more likely to find just pure ammonia there than at a supermarket or whatnot.
