When i do water changes i dont like to waste the water, so i normally just pump it to my lawn. ive been doing it probably spring. its really been great on my lawn!.... up until about the past week. i guess its too cold and the irrigation isnt great when its this cold outside. i average about 500 gallons of water changed per week. normally all on a sunday. probably not the best idea to leave it in the same spot. i went to do a water change today and noticed a nice brown patch where i normally put my output on my pump. and the grass is still wet.

It will come back strong in the spring time. It is just dormant for now.

Definitely should be moving to different spots every time. An overly green, lush area on the lawn looks almost as bad as a one with a large brown area imo

So true, I did that about 5 years back and the few green areas were so GREEN that the rest of the lawn looked horrid. (Something about thick bright green against a backdrop of dull green.)

Just watch the patch and make sure it's sprouting on it's own when the night time lows are above 50F. If you actually killed it, then re-seed.
