a few days ago the media just went nuts over here, "killer whales in kuwait"
most people were saying they were lost, the Arabian Gulf is too small for them
I don't know... could a whale get lost? :screwy:

here's a vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBxAv0Ttf7Y
turn your speakers down, I couldn't find a vid without the music
in my culture, that's what the fishermen sang to keep their spirits up

yes whales can get lost, awhile back there was a humpback whale that swam through san fransisco harbor and up the sacramento river. some peolpe were luckly able to get him to turn around and head back out to sea beffore he died

they must have gotten disoriented, some types of military sonar have ben show to distress and disorient whales and dolphins, do you think that could have been it?

that sounds like a better reason than "they just got lost"

Why can't whales vacation in Kuwait? They are just enjoying themselves. Everyone wants whales to be free, but as soon as they go somewhere unusual people get upset :irked:

I'm not upset, just curious

I like the music! I've seen plenty of disoriented animals before, like when my chinchilla got her head stuck in a tp roll. Okay, nevermind, that was irrelevant.
