Caught them doing it yesterday. Was pretty cool to watch. :popcorn:Anyways, I have several fish laying eggs but never get them to survive. Now that I know the Killi's are breeding, want to try to separate them but don't know what to do. I have a 5 gallon tank I can put them in but I don't know if I need to cycle it first. Also, for those who have breed killifish, what type of substrate do you use?

What type of killifish are they? Some are plant spawners, some are substrate spawners. Some killifish eggs have to be dried for weeks before putting them back in water to hatch, while others you can just put the eggs in a small container with a little acriflavin and will hatch in about 2 weeks.
