Just noticed that randomly 2 days in a row now my 4" PBASS just started refusing food. Hes looking fine and acting fine just not begging for food nor eating. May be hes just in a bad mood. I normally feed him FD brine shrimp but i drop some water in there to make it not be dusty but maleable and able to ball up. W/e everyone else is fine in the tank.... as a matter of fact the gar and characins are taking advantage of this time to feast. Any advice or input on why he may be on strike.

try useing live food..he might just be tired of the shrimp..i have one that used to LOVE market shrimp..but after a month he wouldn't touch it..now he's on hikari pellets.

what are your water parameters, ant temp?

qabove all don't stress! Be faithfull to the title you gave to the thread:)

same deal today.... didnt eat any wet brine chunks or market, im gonna go get some fat heads and also try some earthworm chunks he liked those a bout a month ago.

still not scared hes not getting fatigued and isnt at all bony yet.... used to eat like fat albe

ate one rosy red...... far from normal, but hey he ate.. ill let the other two just chill and hope the gar doesnt pick him off.... or even the characins rip them up.
