There's a very large Asian water monitor at a close by pet shop. He's called Alexander the Great, and he usually stays in his enclosure, which is a converted walk in closet thing. Well, last time I was there I got lucky, he was free roaming. I didn't use any zoom on these photos, just my macro lens.

Hour and a half, three hours round trip. Well worth the drive, they've got some excellent animals, all in good health. Owner is a friend of mine.

Their Water Monitor is actually a sulfur as well.
