Please i need help!!! I already lost one and I don't want to lose this one. I don't know what's wrong with him he is very active he swims around he's always looking for food. I never see him poop but when I look around the tank I see healthy poop it is not white. But for some reason his stomach is swollen I think he might be constipated. I gave him a peas yesterday and one today and I put Epsom salt in the tank today. I know I got to give it time for it to work but I'm afraid that i my lose him as well. So please any suggestions.

My flowerhorn always looks that full I feed him 5 times a day. If you've seen him poop these nothing to worry about if he's still eattin and swimming actively. Worst case senario he swallowed one of those pebbles you use for substrate. If that's the case I'm sorry.

That's the problem i haven't fed him sees yesterday and his stomach is still big. I don't feed him that much, i only give him 2 pellets and that's it and his stomach hasn't gotten down. I never see him poop. He barely poop. So i feel like he is having a problem pooping. So my plan is to not feed him for 2 days until i see his stomach go down.

I saw him this morning poop a little of the peas that i gave him before yesterday. But it was small. So that tells me he probably didn't eat a pebbles

Are your sure because i barely feed him. I feel like i should still not feed him for 2 days, to see if his stomach goes down, to make sure that's the case.

Starve him for 2 days but how I see it it's kind of like a fat person they can not eat for 2 days but their belly will still be there you could have a Fat fish but I could be wrong

I'll probably write to the guy that i bought him and see if he was like that when he had him. Hopefully he just a fat fish, and hopefully when I starve him for two days hopefully his stomach goes down a little bit to make me feel more calmer
