King Kamfa Fry

Hey all,
So I went out and got 5 Kamfa fry on a whim, loved my flowerhorns in the past figured why not raise some from fry. i have two 40 gallon tanks set up as grow outs. However the dividers that I build for the tanks leave too much space and the fish have the ability to be free swimming in the tank. considering Ive always kept the fry separate in the past and only would grow 1-2 at a time how long do you think I can leave them all in the same tank without a divider until they start getting aggressive with each other? Any tips or tricks in growing out fry are all welcome

All the Kamfas I have ever had were mean from the get go...in 40 gallons I'd say you have a month or so before somebody comes up battered...good news is that they will grow pretty fast, maybe enough to not fit through the divider spacing...or you could just get new dividers...

unfortunately i do not have the pictures of the parents, I did not breed these myself, I had a titanium female that was ready to breed and laid eggs every 2-3 weeks but unfortunately i couldnt find a suitable mate for her, so i sold her off and bought these as fry to grow and hopefully get some showers

Alright guys finally got them to settle in and took some pictures. Unfortunately it looks like one got beat up really bad so im gonna hope he pulls through this weekend, they are all separate now, they grew pretty quick and stopped swimming through my barriers
The first picture is the bully and the second is the victim... Pray for this little guy he was looking the best when he came in

wow.. these are nice.. the victim got beat up real bad ehh.. hope he gets well soon.. but tht 4th pic man, wow, he looks to have some potential.. already growing a kok, pearls are appearing and the eyes are just mean o.o nice .. i like him a lot! so basically, u have 5fries all together?

they are actually separated, I will post more pictures at the end of the week I came into my office this morning and oh man did they grow over the weekend and the banged up one is up and cruising around again. I need to get better dividers put up in there because they are swimming around and over them, The five are split between two 40 gallon breeders, 3 in one tank and 2 in the other.
