Hi, I have noticed my kkp not eating and has lost his appetite, he only eats food that gets near him. This is the opposite of him because he usually eats everything. Also, he's becoming solitude and hides from his usual buddies.



I have noticed that he has a somewhat swollen lips/mouth. I have no idea how to treat this since i have never experienced this, any ideas on how i can treat this?



The last picture is a Before picture and the rest is the swollen lip/mouth I am talking about...

pleas please help

Probably got a good beat down...What size tank? And what are the mates?
 
he recently fought with the 2 vieja mating pair...i took out the female and the frys 2 weeks ago. now the aggression level in the tank has been gone.

But it still seems like king kong parrot is still swelling up pretty bad, any treatments?
 
Put him in a tank alone and let him heal in clean water...that is the best thing you could do. A vieja especially mating, is not a good mate for a parrot, if fighting occurs...As you know, they do not have the most capable of jaws...Give him a chance, and keep him with non aggressives..
 
There could be two reasons.

1. He was in a fight or was lip locking with another fish in your tank.
2. He has ducklips and need to be treated ASAP.
